So Many Questions
What I have noticed the most over the past few days since the release of Mel Gibson's THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST are the questions. It's hard to leave a showing of the movie without a myriad of questions. "What parts are in the Bible?" "What parts are just 'movie'?" "Why would they make a movie so realistic?" "Is all of that that really real?"

So many questions. This morning I just want to tackle three of the most profound questions the movie and the Biblical account of Christ's PASSION raise.

We ask, "Who killed Jesus?" The crowds? The Jewish leaders? The Romans?

The truth is - God killed Jesus. And He did it out of love.
Though our sins are to blame, it was God who purposed to sacrifice His Son for our forgiveness.
